Florida (Aviation)(FL)(Automotive) Collection of 200 photographs related to Florida.
Phila., etc., 1925+. One of the family actually operated a flight service for several years. These images are photocopies, full-size, from the leaves of a pair of enormous scrapbooks beginning c.1910 & extending to c.1940. Prepared as a previous package for a perspective customer who bought, then, the original. Maintained by one of the lesser Lorrilard tobacco family branches, the scrapbooks contain also about 160 great aviation images, also about 30 great vintage auto images, 5 of train wrecks & over 100 more of various family members. Please note the aviation views incl. four unpublished views of Charles S. Lindbergh, close ups of planes, plane wrecks, etc. Scrapbooks like this are a real problem for the seller; one can't easily separate the categories, for the family took FL vacations (& vacationers visited airplanes in FL) which reflected w/their love of flying, of automobiles & family gatherings. So the best we can do is figure the best category at retail & the rest at about 1/2 retail. The family pictures are a gimme. Reasonable samples requests cheerfully provided.
