Louisville, KY, ca.1925. Two pieces. The first's the easy one: "It's Ballard That's Enough", 11 x 6", color covers and 4pp. w/color illus. the rest is receipts and cooking tips from National Federation of Women's Clubs. The other consists of five panels (attached by hanging string). Recto color American Lithography Co., KY. Verso black & white. Exterior panels replicate in color, small (10 lbs) cloth flour bags about 12" high. The second and fourth feature a gloriously colorful cherry pie (crust from Ballard's flour, naturally). The center panel is a double size of the end panels. One frequently saw these strung across the back of the store to catch the eye. Those found in use frequently have smoke, drip grease and need to be scraped of flyspecks for legibility. This is a great chance to own a most unusual period piece. Guarantee you'll be the first in your group to string along with this ad, displaying your wisdom in this purchase. You might even get Ballard Flour to fund the purchase. They might provide the yeast for the purchase price to increase.
