Blank, Clair BEVERLY GRAY AT THE WORLD'S FAIR - THE BEVERLY GRAY COLLEGE MYSTERY SERIES
A. L. Burt Company, Pub. New York (1935) 1st ed 250pp B&W frontis HC Number 6 in the series. This book was part of the series when the series was published by the A. L. Burt Company. When Grosset took over the series, this volume was dropped because its setting, the 1933-34 Chicago's Century of Progress Exposition dated it. Thus, this title is one of the rarest in the series. In BEVERLY GRAY AT THE WORLD'S FAIR, Beverly and her friends have graduated from college and are working in New York. Disappointed that she was not going to Paris to study with friends, Beverly and her remaining friends plan a month vacation at the Century of Progress Exposition in Chicago where they witness a murder when a diver is killed by an air gun at the fair.
