Thanking Voigt for his letter and poem Vater and Tochter "I find it full of exquisit e images and of magic", and for reminding Wilder of his correspondence with the German artist Kober. Talks about the problems of publishing in Germany, and for Voigt to not be discouraged. Mentions he is leaving for Europe in a few days and hopes he will be able to go into Germany on this trip. Envelope and letter in fine condition. Voigt was a German writer and Teacher living in Milwaukee at the time.
