A Rare French journal issued 10 times a year beginning in 1924. OCLC lists only one copy (and that only of the first year's issues). It is not clear how long the journal was published but this is the complete run for the first five years through 1928, Issues 1 through 50. It is a military journal which provides detailed information on the French Army. But, since Africa had been explored in the recent past relative to the 1920s, there is also a great deal of descriptive material on the land, people, architecture etc. For example, the December 1925 issue is devoted to Morocco--the country, its people, history and future. Many black and white photographs, charts and maps illustrate the text. There are several fold-out maps as well. An important African and French archive of the 1920s.
