Many future space scientists were inspired by this work. Haber was also interested in the human elements of space travel. In July 1952 he and Conrad Buettner, both of the UCLA College of Engineering, postulated that since man had attained near-space altitudes in balloons, space travel itself would add little danger. The current work is one of several in which Dr. Haber provides a fresh and far-reaching look at the physical world including earth, space and the stars. Signed works of Dr. Haber are Scarce.
