Boston: printed by John Draper, 1760. 46 pp. 8vo, old wrappers. First edition. Cooper was the pastor of the Brattle Street Church, and an able and eloquent preacher. He was an intimate friend of both John Adams and Benjamin Franklin; in later years his activity in the cause of American freedom rendered him obnoxious to the British authorities.
