Lacks the rare separate atlas volume of eight maps and plans, Howes says the portrait, of General Jackson, (lacking here as well) was not issued in all copies. This is the classic account of the campaign in the War of 1812 which culminated in the battle of New Orleans. The appendix contains copies of documents relating to the campaign.
