RUTTY, John, The Liberty of the Spirit and of the Flesh Distinguished: In an Address to those Captives in Spirit among the People called Quakers, who are commonly called Libertines. Dublin, printed; Philadelphia, Re-Printed by B. Franklin, and D. Hall, 1759. octavo, 64pp. Evans 8486, Sabin 74499, Miller 719 The five bound together at a very early date, probably for Benjamin Griscom, whose signature appears on several of the title-pages. Full calf on four raised bands, covers box-ruled in blind with double fillet; spine ruled with a single fillet above and below each band. Binding is rubbed, hinges weak, free endpapers gone; light foxing and scattered spots within.
