Inscribed on the verso of the front free endpaper “To Ogden Bishop / In Pleasant remembrance of / a dinner we had together / July 28, 1889 / Thos. Bailey Aldrich / Paris.” Vellum bookplate of Ogden M. Bishop on the front paste-down." Inner hinges repaired; cloth somewhat soiled; very good copy.
