From Clark #100, this "is one of the few books in the historical romance genre published by the Clark Company. Francis Beaumont, a creation of the author, is the vehicle through which the story of the Mayflower and the Pilgrims is told. With care towards historical accuracy, the book is still basically a work of fiction. It is, in addition, the only Clark title published on a New England topic.
