Byrne, although born in Brooklyn of Irish parents, grew up in Ireland and identified himself strongly with his mother country, even though he eventually settled in New York where finally made his fame and fortune. An important literary testament from an important figure in the American literary renaisssance Folio (15-1/2 x 10-1/2 inches). 32pp., in green ink on rectos only of 32 ruled sheets, signed and dated at end. With pencil corrections by Byrne or by an editor.
