The questions all have to do with the future or about the personality of the player. The pointer is in the shape of a hand, and it points to one of eight small boxes, or to answers printed around the dial. These small boxes contain cards that give advice regarding the question. Each box has a lid with a color-lithographed scene on the top. In the original box, which is covered with printed paper, and has a color printed animated scene on the top.
