Some crackling to spine; persistent browning to text, with old tidelines to upper page margins and gutters of sections of the text. Upper outer corner of one page lacking, with the loss of a letter or two. Contemporary owner's name stamp on front endpapers and title page, as well as owner's signature on head of title page.
