Rear endpaper is rumpled. This edition, reduced in size and re-engraved by W. Dickes, contains the same illustrations in Joseph Cundall's edition of 1849. One of the "Illustrated Present Books" series, and probably the only one of the series with colour plates. There is some darkening of the spine and a few leaves are detached, otherwise this is a very good copy of an attractive book. First edition.
