Besides dealing with the labyrinth, his book discusses diseases of the tympanum and Eustachian tube."--See Garrison-Morton 3365, citing the Paris edition of the same year. Spine darkened, with a few old stains; stain on fore-edge margin of final wo leaves or so. Some light toning. With the booklabel and signature (dated 1864) of John Elsner and the earlier ownership signature of a Dr. Hanchett. A very good copy.
